The short version
- We collect what it takes to ship your order, sign you in and, if you ask, send the newsletter.
- Card numbers go to Stripe. This site never sees them.
- We don’t sell or rent your information. Ever.
- Delete your account and reading history anytime.
What we collect
When you buy: your name, email, shipping address and what you ordered.
When you sign in: your email and, as you read, where you left off in each comic.
When you subscribe: your email, which Substack keeps for the newsletter.
We also count visits to pages with a privacy-friendly analytics tool, without tracking you across other sites.
What we don’t
Card numbers and bank details. Payments run through Stripe, and that information never touches this site.
How we use it
To fill and support your order, send receipts, tracking and sign-in links, save your place in a comic, and send the newsletter if you subscribed. Nothing else.
Who else sees it
Stripe handles payments. Resend sends receipts and sign-in links. Substack sends the newsletter. The shop that packs orders gets your name and address to ship your books. Vercel and Neon host the site and its database.
Each gets only what it needs for its job.
Cookies
One cookie remembers your cart and one keeps you signed in. Analytics: cookie-free. No ad trackers.
Your choices
Unsubscribe from any newsletter email. Delete your account under Your shelf, Settings. Email hello@createdbyclyde.com for a copy of your data or to have it deleted.
How long we keep it
Order records for 5 years, for taxes. Reading progress until you delete your account.
Kids
This site isn’t meant for children under 13, and STEPPERS is rated M.
Changes
If this changes in a way that matters, we’ll update the date above and tell newsletter subscribers.
